James River Oysters are not super briny oysters. They are havarested from low sanlity waters. They will have a hint of salt but are not considered to be briny oysters. James River Virignia Oysters are single selected oysters. They can be consumed all year round. Unlike clustered oysters (consumed in the month with "R's"), these oysters are planted on the bottom of the ocean floor. The harvesting process are extensive which makes them more pricer than clustered oysters.
