Green Lipped Mussels come to us from the world cleanest water New Zealand. They are so rich in essential nutrients that they have been extracted and bottled to sold as vitamins. They are larger mussels comparing to black mussels with a green outer shell, light, firm and plump with a mild and fresh taste. They are orange and/or ivory when raw or cooked. They come in a 2 LB bag on a 1/2 shell. Marketable size are (90 - 120 mm). They are great stir fry, bake; grill, fry and steam.
