North Carolina Stump Sounds oysters are wild, seasonal and local. They are consider singles but you'll also find some with 1 to 3 stuck together. They are large sized oysters. Each bushel takes about an hour to pick and are limited to 5 bushel per oyster picker per day. They are single selected oysters mixed with clusters, deep shell, large size oysters known of their brininess. They taste exactly like the ocean, which puts them on the top list of oysters choice! They are found in the surrounding regions of the topsail area, great for roasting - but are great consumed in any ways.
